Project description: The project focused on dealing with the past and fostering reconciliation within the context of conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Macedonia. Its aim was to challenge divisions between “Us and Them,” promote dialogue, and build mutual understanding among diverse communities in the Balkans. By encouraging cultural exchange and acceptance, the project worked to reduce prejudices and strengthen social cohesion.
Key objectives included creating an online discussion platform to spark debate on perceptions and realities, motivating youth to critically reflect on their own biases, and highlighting the role of digital media in addressing taboo topics such as interethnic tensions, discrimination, and intolerance. The project also sought to mobilize young people as drivers of change, equipping them to raise awareness and promote inclusivity. Additionally, it incorporated art as a creative tool for intercultural learning and dialogue, enabling participants to express, connect, and build bridges across communities.
