Project name: Book translation of “Peace, Love and Liberty”

Project description: The “Peace, Love & Liberty” project involved translating and promoting an influential collection of essays on liberty for Albanian-speaking audiences in the Balkans. Leveraging LAI’s strong network with universities in North Macedonia, Albania, and Kosovo, the project aimed to introduce students to liberal ideas and foster discussion on freedom and civic values.

Key activities included translating the book into Albanian, incorporating it as supplementary reading in courses at three universities (one per country), printing 100 copies of the translation, and organizing promotional events across the region. Through these efforts, the project not only increased accessibility to important philosophical ideas but also strengthened academic engagement with liberal thought among students in the Balkans.
