In the second year of the Economic Olympiad, a total of 35 schools from different regions participated. The total number of students who were part of the school round was 1250 students. The testing was organized online with the support of coordinators for each school. The best students from each school qualified for the regional round.
A total of 300 students participated in the regional round, which was held in 5 regions. The regional round was organized in cooperation with the universities of that region, and with the support of university professors. The best 10 from each region qualified for the national round.
The best 50 students competed in the national round, which was held at the South East European University in Tetovo. The testing consisted of two parts. In the first part, the written part, all students participated. The best of the written part qualified for the oral part, from which the best 5 students were selected, who represented the country in the international competition.
The best 5 students competed with students from over 20 other countries, in the Olympic Village in Greece, where they achieved solid results.
